sickness once more.

so once again i'm sick. surprise surprise. but i've made a record! i have not had one case of strep this year! my immune system must be improving. haha.

the people at my school are so bizarre. sometimes it can be funny and i like it, sometimes it makes me want to cry. well not really, but it can be pretty pitiful at times. most times it's hilarious.
for example, this girl told me i looked like someone who would work at a nursing home. i didn't know if that was an insult or what, and she didn't seem to know either. i laughed.

our volleyball team is actually doing pretty well, except we have a jv team this year too, and we don't have enough jerseys for all of the girls (and we're too poor to buy new ones), so some of us varsity players have to lend the jv girls our jerseys for their game and then quickly change into them for our game when they're done ( they don't smell horribly at all! ). so that's fun(ny).

i can start driving friends on october 9th, which also happens to be leif eriksson day! so we're throwing a party at school. so if anyone needs a ride in a big awesome red minivan after the 9th, you can count on me. (maybe)
good ol' leif!

This entire post made me laugh.
Especially the part about you being a worker in the nursing home. What a bizare thing to say!

I have no idea why my lip got swollen. That's the strange part of it all. It just....did.

I didn't like it. One little bit.

thanks for laughing at me, emma.
It didn't really help my "condition." Heh heh.

Actually, I've been laughing at myself all week for thinking it was 2008. I don't know how that concept got stuck into my head. (:

Man, that line about you working in a nursing home is hilarious. Who says things like that? That is so strange. I am glad you both laughed about it though. That is very amusing! It made my night reading that.
