at the LIBRARY OF CONGRESS. yeah, pretty much.
for one of my classes we went to the folklife center in the library of congress and did some research for my paper about pete seeger (who was a commie, did you know?!).
it was soooooooooooo cool, and absolutely gorgeous! all the ceilings are painted, it's Sistine chapel-ish. and i got a library card, so i can go there whenever and get whatever. you know, same ol' same ol'. definitely go whenever you can! there's so much more that i didn't get to see, because i got to the tour late, so i'll go again with you if you want.
